Genome Storage
Primary Storage: Arweave Protocol All compressed genomes are primarily stored on the Arweave Protocol, ensuring permanent, scalable, and decentralized storage of genetic data.
Secondary Storage: Bitcoin Ordinals Through community collaboration, the most significant genomes will be preserved as Ordinal Inscriptions on the Bitcoin blockchain. This provides an additional layer of permanence, security, and immutability, complementing the Arweave storage.
Reference Genomes:
Data Type: Losslessly compressed complete genomic sequences. Primary Location: Stored on the Arweave Protocol for durability and accessibility. Secondary Location: Select genomes preserved as Bitcoin Ordinals for enhanced permanence. Purpose: These reference genomes form the foundation for compressing future sequenced DNA codes, establishing a robust genomic data archive.
Future Sequenced DNA Codes:
Data Type: Compressed DNA codes derived from the reference genomes. Primary Location: Stored securely on the Arweave Protocol. Secondary Location: Significant DNA codes optionally inscribed on Bitcoin Ordinals. Recipients: Accessible to individuals (deGenom customers) and app participants engaging in the deGenom ecosystem.
Utility & Access for the Community:
Bitcoin Digits Owners: Continue as guardians of the reference genomes inscribed by deGenom team, securing foundational genomic data on Bitcoin Ordinals.
Active App Participants: Earn points through the deGenom app, with opportunities to unlock $DEGENOM tokens and exclusive NFTs tied to Eternity, Healing, and Longevity.
Introducing the deGenom Token:
Future Plans: Launch of the $DEGENOM token as a central asset in the ecosystem.
Economic Distribution incentives will reward:
Bitcoin Digits owners for safeguarding critical genomic data on the Bitcoin blockchain.
Active participants for engaging in app-based contributions to the ecosystem.
This dual-layer storage and tokenomics system ensures both the preservation of genomic data and active community participation, fostering a collaborative and sustainable future.
